Olds Continuing To Show Dominance |
|
At approximately the mid-point of the season, Olds College is continuing to show dominance. Teams on both the Women's and Men's side are having a tough time when they get in the ring with these Broncos. On the Women's side, Olds 1 and Olds 2 are sitting in first and second place respectively in Pool A. On the Men's side, Olds 1 is sitting 1st in Pool A. Only time will tell if another school can buck these tenacious Bronco's out of first place.
In pool B action, the Prairie Pilot's women are flying high with a record of 5 wins, 1 loss and the Ambrose Lion's are showing their prowess as they sit in first place on the Men's side. Both inter and intra-pool play has provided for some exciting games so far this season. Mark your calendars for the playoff championships at Olds College during the second weekend in March!

President Takes Opportunity Overseas |
|
The ACAL would like to congratulate David Petroziello, Alberta Colleges Athletic League President and Director of Athletics at St. Mary's University College, who has recently taken on an opportunity in a Professional Basketball league in Australia. Unfortunately this means that he will be stepping down as President of the ACAL, but the league wishes him and his family all the best in his new endeavors! |
